Over the next few days I’ll be working on putting in the new numbers I’ve come up with for Warriors. This includes drops in the RPG as well as the rate of items from corpses at the Butcher. You might notice some odd drop rates and such for the next few days because of this, but it shouldn’t hinder your ability to use the RPG.Please remember that these numbers are subject to change. If you don’t agree with a change, please post about it in the Feedback forum and we’ll consider it. Also, keep in mind that this is to make the game a bit more challenging. As it currently stands, Warriors are pretty much set from battling with all the food and plushies they get, and that’s not fair to the Miners and Smiths! Smiths are the “anchor” and will most likely not be changed much, but I am looking into upping the EXP for everything made to go better with the increased difficulty in finding the drops needed to smith items.I’ve also heard some rumors about our plans for a system wipe in the future. I’d like to hopefully ease some minds by reiterating that whether or not it will happen is still up in the air. If it does happen, it will only be job-related items to rid the economy of all the excess that was added before the rates were lowered. Your cash shop items, pets, weapons, event and other items will all be fine, as will your Aurics, Celestes and Eclipses. Not to mention, when Open Beta is finished we’ll probably have some neat prizes for those that have stuck with us through this testing period!Thanks much! I hope you guys enjoy the changes. RPG Rehaul Update! :)[You must click the link on the news, Problem? :D] (Note - you need to have started in Corenthia to see this preview correctly!!)(So be in Corenthia West 1 or it won’t work!!)Well, here is what I managed to do tonight, besides more security tweaking, bahhh—-In a nutshell, the new rpg is pretty boring right now. No monsters spawn, maps don’t link, just a nice big map to explore. c:BUT - ze RPG Rehaul Plan…* Make faster!!!* condense the maps, make all the new ones bigger and set the terrain to be interesting…* Link spots are awful to set, simply allow an entire side to warp you to another map* make the viewing window bigger (if it won’t lag too badly….)* disregard mouseovers for monsters - too annoying, find way to fix* implement way to ‘claim’ a monster to prevent kill stealing* Update the attack script so dead monsters don’t hit back* And/edit anything else that makes the current rpg suck/slow (Comment on this news if I missed something..?)Hope you guys dig, I’ll be working on it slowly all week when I find time. I don’t mind if you play in it while I develop, just no complaining if it eats your partners alive. *grin*
